GUIDED MOTORCYCLE TOURS IN GREECE

Fully guided motorcycle tours are for riders who want to experience Greece without managing the details.

On a MotoGreece guided tour, routes, accommodation, luggage, daily logistics, and on-the-road coordination are handled by an experienced tour leader and support team. Riders focus on the ride itself, the landscape, and the group dynamic — not planning, navigation, or problem-solving.

This is a structured, supported way to tour Greece, designed for riders who value clarity, predictability, and shared experience.

What “Fully Guided” Means Operationally

A fully guided tour runs on a fixed schedule with a defined route, pre-booked accommodation, and a support structure that handles logistics during the tour.

  • Tour leader presence: An experienced rider leads the group throughout the tour. The leader sets the pace, manages road conditions, coordinates rest stops, and acts as the primary point of contact for all on-road decisions.
  • Support vehicle: Tours of seven days or longer include a support van that follows the group. The van carries luggage (one suitcase per rider), provides roadside assistance if needed, and offers the option for passengers or riders to rest when necessary. Two seats are available on a first-come basis.
  • Route coordination: Daily routes are predetermined and briefed each morning. GPS devices and routes are provided. Riders follow the leader but can separate from the group at any point and rejoin at designated meeting points or at the hotel.
  • Group rhythm: The tour operates at a moderate pace suitable for experienced riders. Riding hours listed for each tour include time on the bike plus brief stops for photos and coffee. Lunch breaks and site visits are additional.
  • Fixed itinerary: Accommodation, routes, and rest days are set in advance. This structure removes daily planning but limits route flexibility.

Group Size and Dynamics

Group size is limited to a maximum of eight motorcycles. This cap ensures manageable road coordination, reduces wait times during stops, and maintains the quality of the group experience.

Riders join as individuals, couples, or small groups. Most tours include a mix of solo riders and pairs traveling together.

Group interaction happens naturally during stops, meals, and accommodation time. The tour leader facilitates coordination.

Emphasis on smooth progress, not fast or aggressive riding. The experience prioritizes cohesion, safety, and shared enjoyment.

Support and Logistics

Motorcycles: All bikes are current-generation BMW or Honda models, maintained to our rental fleet standards. Bikes are no older than two years.

Accommodation: Hotels are selected for location, quality, and rider suitability.

Route design: Routes prioritize secondary and back-country roads. Highways are used only when necessary for connecting sections. Daily riding hours are estimated based on road conditions and rider experience level.

Points of interest: Tours include stops at historical sites or regional landmarks when they align with the route.

Who Guided Tours Are For

Guided tours are designed for experienced riders who prefer not to manage route planning, navigation, accommodation booking, or daily logistics.

This format works for riders who:

  • Value structure and predetermined routes
  • Appreciate having support and leadership on the road
  • Prefer traveling with a small group rather than alone
  • Want to focus on riding without handling operational details

Guided tours require rider experience. Current tours are graded intermediate to advanced and assume confidence with mountain roads, variable surfaces, and sustained daily riding.
