This was the best trip so far for my motorcycle adventures. My brother and I did the 8 day self guided tour of the Peloponnese. Every detail of the trip was fantastic. We have travel the world , dealing with multiple Motorcycle rentals companies , Ireland, Equador, Spain , South Africa which was my favorite, New Zealand , UK , France , Germany , Austria, Switzerland and now after a 9 day ride I Greece surpass all my expectation and my number 1 favorite ride now , the mountains , the passes , ocean coast line , the hotel accommodations , curves , switchbacks are endless , beautiful country side , people were very welcoming , John you both have an amazing business, great bikes and one minor incident which was our fault and you treated us fairly making us wanting to return once again in the near future . My wife and I completed a personalized 22 day self guided motorcycle tour of Greece made possible by MotoGreece. I normally don't do a lot of reviews but felt I had to review this trip with MotoGreece. From the first time I contacted John at MotoGreece back in February we've experienced nothing but courtesy and expertise in listening to our requirements, assessing our needs and formulating a trip that fit our schedule. We had been invited to a 3 day wedding in a seaside town in the Peloponnese region that John was able to incorporate into their 19 day self guided tour of Greece. We were blown away by the tour John had put together. John had arranged transportation from the airport, the keys and instructions to a like-new 1250 Triple Black GS and detailed itinerary. The day by day travel itinerary book was easy to follow and made the days ride foolproof and included points of interest, great riding break locations at scenic villages, wonderful beaches and often, route options. The GPS routes led us through spectacular scenic gorges and mountain passes on challenging paved roads right to the lovely hotels where the front desk staff were expecting us. At the end of each days ride there were suggestions provided in the itinerary for authentic local restaurants. In addition to showing us the major archaeological and geological sites MotoGreece showed us parts of Greece that we would never have discovered on our own and that I'm sure even some native Greeks have never experienced. This was our first tour arranged by someone other than myself but I cannot imagine that any other Moto Tour company would be capable of providing a better more comprehensive tour of Greece. Excellent Self-Guided Motorbiking around Greece with Motogreece Outstanding experience with our self-guided 11-day tour across Athens and Pelion - riding two up. We were impressed with the quality of the motorbike; 2025-1300GS which ran extremely well for the entire 11-days and zero issues. The roads in Greece are in great physical shape and while we have traveled to 67 Countries (and counting), and most by motorbike; Greece offered the most curved roads and hairpin turns than any other country we’ve traveled in. I was honestly surprised but pleasantly pleased! Motogreece, AKA: John & John assembled a great 11-day itinerary with all topnotch hotels reserved for our self-guided tour. Detailed printed booklet and TomTom provide day by day instructions for road navigation, coffee stops, gas stations, highlights of things to do & see and restaurant recommendations. Top marks We’ve just had an amazing trip organised by Motogreece. The bikes were fantastic — brand-new or low-mileage BMW GS 1300 Triple Blacks, all with top boxes and preloaded satnavs. Everything was ready to go, and the route John planned was absolutely brilliant.The boutique hotels were all lovely and in places we’d never have found ourselves. The roads and routes were spot on — great riding every day, just the right amount of distance, and we got to see all the sights we’d hoped to.We did a six-day tour of the Peloponnese and met John the evening before to sort the paperwork, which made the start super smooth. On day one we were straight on the bikes after a quick orientation for those new to the GS.Can’t recommend Motogreece and John highly enough — everything ran perfectly, the bikes were incredible (did I mention they were all Triple Blacks?), and no detail was spared. We’ll definitely be back!

In October we rode the MotoGreece Northern route, two up, through the mountains on their GS1300 Triple Blacks. The bike were brilliantly specced and prepared with good luggage. The route provided (with their Tom Toms and paper notes) gave us the opportunity to see both popular and remote parts of Greece, the highlight being the 1905m Barros Pass. The accommodation provided was excellent and we ate in all the recommended restaurants. An excellent tour for riders and pillions. Well done to both the Johns at MotoGreece. Thanks, Nick and Claire

Motorcycle riding bucket list; Greece Our experience of doing the Self-guided 16-day Peloponnese & Central-Northwest tour with friends, in May 2024 booked through MotoGreece, was beyond expectations. From our first email contact to our debriefing at the end of the 16 days, communications and service were excellent. It is clear that the partners John and John, who manage the company, are passionate about motorcycles and making sure their customers have the best riding experiences. The bikes, two BMW 1250 GS's and a BMW F 750 GS were in great shape. The pre-loaded routes took us to places we would never have found by ourselves; seaside towns, mountain routes, ancient sites. Almost every day, the scenery was breathtaking. Accommodations were first class. We appreciated that we stayed in most places for two nights giving the option and alternative routes to explore the area or take a day off and relax. The booklet with maps, mileage breakdown and a lot of other extremely useful information including recommendations for restaurants and interesting places to visit, was a bonus. Greece is definitely a place to add to a motorcycle riding bucket list. In my opinion (I ride pillion) this is the way to explore Greece. And I would highly recommend booking through MotoGreece in Athens.

We are quite experienced motorcycle travelers having rented and ridden in multiple countries. Our most recent trip was Greece with Moto Greece Communication: excellent before and during the trip Planning: the best we have had. Very nice and thorough customized day by day guide book for our trip with multiple options. Multiple sites and dining recommendations. Pre-programmed GPS with multiple options Motorcycles: New or almost new. Clean. Well prepared. Owners were very happy to spend extra time with us getting any desired personal electronics mounted with access to charging. They rent adventure touring bikes because the roads in some of the remote areas lack maintenance and can be a little rough. The extra suspension travel was much appreciated. Lodging: all carefully chosen and wonderful for our tastes The scenery was epic. Very few cars once out of Athens. The owners were also happy to serve as concierges re: time in Athens. Overall One of our best trips. Would we book with them again? Absolutely. Suggestion: Consider charging a little more and putting toll passes on the bikes. The tolls were not that common but are difficult on a motorcycle when paying cash especially when no attendant was present in the booths. It would have been nice just to roll through with a pass

I cant thank John and the MotoGreece team enough for the recent trip I have just experienced. A mate and I came from Australia and did the 11 day tour of northern Greece, and having completed many motorbike tours all over the world, including both self guided and group tours, this has been probably the best experience I have had on a bike. Everything about the package that motogreece put together was fantastic, well thought out and planned to perfection. The routes were far better than I could ever have imagined, with miles and miles of twisting, windy roads through amazing and varied landscapes, with very little other traffic through most of it, and what one would only describe as a culture of road ‘recommendations’ instead of road rules. I was provided with a Triple Black GS1250 and my mate on a GS800, both were in imaculate condition and extremely well maintained. They never missed a beat, as is to be expected of these bikes and were a perfect match to the roads we encountered. Each day of riding was a surprise package, with hints and suggestions of local sight seeing, taverns and stop overs recommended in the road book provided. These tips, combined with the outstanding accomodation package made for an unforgettable and easy experience. I was extremely impressed by the quality and location of the hotels, a number of which were multi night stays with loop rides returning to the same location each night, which meant for easier and more enjoyable riding without the luggage and panniers, but also allowed you to settle in to a neighbourhood for a couple of days and get to experience the local area better. I will be back to explore more of the country to the South and could not recommend the service and quality provided by the motogreece team more highly. Outstanding trip My wife and I experienced the 10 day self guided tour of Central/Northwest Greece. Everything went like clockwork. John arranged for our airport pickup and we arrived at his shop with our riding gear. Our bike was there prepped and ready to go. After loaded the side cases and completing a little paperwork, John gave us a very comprehensive briefing, provided a GPS with routes and alternates, a guide book with much useful and detailed information, and printed map pages for each day. With that we were on our way. Ten fabulous days. The routes were clearly put together by someone who loves “motorcycle roads” and the lodging was outstanding. The guide book provided a great deal of useful information suggesting when and where to fuel up and where to eat and local sites to visit. Every suggestion we followed was a winner. We’ve taken self-guided, guided, rent and ride and this was one of the best. I highly recommend and have recommended to my NorCal BMW Club members. I’m curious about some of the other areas and suspect we’ll use MotoGreece again. Incidentally, I’ve never felt compelled to rate a tour company before as a few promised more than they delivered. MotoGreece actually exceeded our expectations.

Central & Northwest Greece Self-Guided Tour We did the (slightly modified) 10 day Self-Guided Central & Northwest Greece tour - what a beautiful and overlooked part of the country. The scenery is stunning, made even more so by the autumn colours of October.John & John from MotoGreece have put together a superb package - fantastic roads, great accommodation and a detailed road book providing loads of information regarding the route.Two couples, we hired 2 x GS1300s - almost brand new with full luggage and pre-loaded TomTom GPS units.Altogether a fantastic trip - thanks MotoGreece!

Unforgettable Trip in Greece Unforgettable Ride In Greece Our motorcycle trip through the Peloponnese and Northwest Greece was fantastic. Winding roads, charming villages and amazing landscapes made our trip unforgettable. We did the 16 day self guided tour. John planned our trip and bikes were in great shape with a fully loaded GPS with multiple route options and rest day rides. Great itinerary with all the historic sites marked with time to explore. Unique and conveniently located hotels were outstanding. We were impressed with John’s knowledge and the map books provided with stops and tips for each stop. Food recommendations were incredible (make sure to check them out). Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Great Adventure in The Peloponnese Just returned from our first self-guided tour with Motogreece in the Peloponnese. John and John at Motogreece exceeded our expectations - they were friendly, knowledgeable and very patient with all our questions at the pre- tour meeting!The BMW F800 supplied with a 3 box set was practically brand new, handled faultlessly and the ideal bike for the tour. The pre-set routes preset by John and John in the satsav are amazing with breathtaking views all the way. The lovely boutique hotels were in great locations and motorcycle friendly.We would highly recommend Motogreece - definitely First Class all the way.

Fabulous self guided tour We did a self guided 10 days trip with Motogreece and it was a remarkable wonderful journey. We experienced the real life of Greece in small villages deep in the mountains. John did an excellent job mapped out an excellent motorcycle route for 10 fabulous days. My husband and I could not stop talking about how great this trip was. We are considering returning to Greece and ride other part of Greece that John put together. Highly recommend this company without any reservations.

An absolutely excellent experience from start to finish! I would 110% recommend Moto Greece Tours. As quite experienced tourers we appreciated the attention to detail and the time that John put in to making our holiday a success. The pre- brief was relevant, helpful, humorous and just the right amount of info. Also the written info we got could then be read day by day, so we didn’t have to retain everything. The routes were fabulous- and gave us a good biking experience, scenic, some twisties and demanding sections, but it gave us a view of the Peloponnese that would never have discovered on our own. The attention to detail in the routes for possible good spots for lunch spots and local attractions was great. It was both a riders and pillions tour - our group of 9 were all super happy with our trip!! THANK YOU!!
