We did the 11 day Northwest and Pelion self guided tour in July 2025. Our experience was seamless and exceeded all our expectations. Each day we followed the routes which were carefully planned by John and we also had the freedom to explore our own detours as well. Every night we were greeted at beautiful accommodation. The bike was practically new and performed perfectly. We would strongly recommend MotoGreece without hesitation.

This was the best trip so far for my motorcycle adventures. My brother and I did the 8 day self guided tour of the Peloponnese. Every detail of the trip was fantastic. Roads, views, hotels, cultural sites and hotels were perfect. If Greece was not on your list for a motorcycle trip it should be and I highly recommend MotoGreece to plan your trip. Thanks for providing a great vacation, I hope to see you again and tour more of your beautiful country.

We recently did a 10-day Northern Greece self-guided moto tour thru MotoGreece . I have to say that my expectations were far exceeded by MotoGreece. John & John were great to deal with. The tour was well laid out and the hotels, food and of course the people were all great! The bikes were all new BMW models of our choice. The roads and the scenery of northern Greece was quite a surprise. The asphalt was not the greatest in some areas up in the mountains, but the scenery was very reminiscent of the Alps & Dolomites. I highly recommend MotoGreece to anyone thinking of doing a moto tour of Greece.

We were 4 guys on a moto trip to Greece. John arranged our itinerary and stay for a 10 day ride. We rented the bikes for a self guided tour. It was a fantastic trip. We were provided late model BMW bikes at a competitive rate. The hotels were nice. Getting in and out of Athens was a little busy, but otherwise one of the best tours I have been on in Europe. Highly recommend!! You should go there!

Mark & I from New Zealand took a chance and contacted John at MotoGreece to enquire about him setting up the 19 day tour for us last year, and he couldn’t have been more helpful. We did this in June just gone on our own and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The roads he set on the TomTom were awesome, Mark enjoyed the Baros Pass as it was a constant flow left to right. The places he arrange for us to stay were a delight, the BMW was a dream to ride two up, the scenery exceptional. The roads were very different from NZ with lots of corners and challenges, we even found time to do the Touristy things. We had A and B routes , but would recommend the A for confident riders. We were given a booklet that covered day to day riding with advice and places to see, which we followed and enjoyed even when you returned on same road you had a different perspective. I found the booklet great to write my own day to day notes in so we could reflect on them when we got home to reminisce on such a great adventure that was so much fun and lots of photos stored away. Would I recommend it - hell yes, go for it you won’t regret it.

Unforgettable Trip in Greece Unforgettable Ride In Greece Our motorcycle trip through the Peloponnese and Northwest Greece was fantastic. Winding roads, charming villages and amazing landscapes made our trip unforgettable. We did the 16 day self guided tour. John planned our trip and bikes were in great shape with a fully loaded GPS with multiple route options and rest day rides. Great itinerary with all the historic sites marked with time to explore. Unique and conveniently located hotels were outstanding. We were impressed with John’s knowledge and the map books provided with stops and tips for each stop. Food recommendations were incredible (make sure to check them out). Thanks for a wonderful vacation!read moreread less

Great company. Great bike. Great ride. Motogreece is John and John. These two owners made the experience excellent from beginning to end.Advance preparation - In the lead up to the trip, they were prompt in their replies, flexible in offering routes, made lodging suggestions that best fit our needs, and were overall efficient in all aspects of the reservation.Their shop and bikes - Upon arrival, it was obvious they run a tight ship and maintain their bikes to the highest standard. Our 2025 R1300GS was prepped and ready to go.The logistics - The route planning was excellent. They provided a Tom Tom, with all routes, lodging, fuel, etc clearly marked. And, for the directionally challenged, they included a number of waypoints along each designated route. In addition, they provided a packet that explained each day’s route, the mileage, time, fuel and food options, route difficulty, etc.The roads - Once you clear Athens and the requisite traffic, the roads empty out and are a joy. Many of the suggested routes had zero traffic. We rode on everything from smooth pavement, to “better pay attention” pavement, to one 10 mile section of challenging gravel and switchbacks. All roads were all great in their own way.The lodging - We requested upgraded lodging where available, and they did not disappoint. Every place fit our needs quite well, with nice accommodations and a good restaurant. The turn in - We dropped the bike off at the scheduled time, and the check-in was a snap. They even arranged a friend to take us to our airport hotel due to a taxi driver strike that had started the previous day. Conclusion - If you are intending to come to Greece for a motorcycle holiday, you could do no better than Motogreece. John and John will take great care of you.read moreread less
Top marks We’ve just had an amazing trip organised by Motogreece. The bikes were fantastic — brand-new or low-mileage BMW GS 1300 Triple Blacks, all with top boxes and preloaded satnavs. Everything was ready to go, and the route John planned was absolutely brilliant. The boutique hotels were all lovely and in places we’d never have found ourselves. The roads and routes were spot on — great riding every day, just the right amount of distance, and we got to see all the sights we’d hoped to.We did a six-day tour of the Peloponnese and met John the evening before to sort the paperwork, which made the start super smooth. On day one we were straight on the bikes after a quick orientation for those new to the GS.Can’t recommend Motogreece and John highly enough — everything ran perfectly, the bikes were incredible (did I mention they were all Triple Blacks?), and no detail was spared. We’ll definitely be back!read moreread less
Central & Northwest Greece Self-Guided Tour We did the (slightly modified) 10 day Self-Guided Central & Northwest Greece tour - what a beautiful and overlooked part of the country. The scenery is stunning, made even more so by the autumn colours of October.John & John from MotoGreece have put together a superb package - fantastic roads, great accommodation and a detailed road book providing loads of information regarding the route. Two couples, we hired 2 x GS1300s - almost brand new with full luggage and pre-loaded TomTom GPS units.Altogether a fantastic trip - thanks MotoGreece!read moreread less
4 of us did the 10 day Central Northwest Greece self guided tour in late May 2025. GPS and written directions/suggestions were spot on and clear. Super easy self guided tour. Accommodations superb, smaller European rooms as expected but top notch quality. Super cost effective beginning to end. MotoGreece was available for questions throughout the trip via WhatsApp/phone/text so even though self guided we had resources available should we need them. Motorcycles were all in perfect condition, zero reliability concerns. 100% recommended and I'd do it again. Along the way every single interaction with the Greeks was ideal. Very friendly, welcoming, and happy to see and help tourists. Roads were pleasantly challenging and I believe Motogreece states this is an advanced ride? Out in the sparsely populated Northwest the roads were in various states of repair which our advanced group found fun and engaging. Always passable except for one required detour with a bridge out. Rode very short distances on packed high quality gravel in a construction area or two. No daydreaming allowed, ride as fast as you can see and stop as it should be anywhere. Scenery was flat out spectacular. Costs along the way were very reasonable. Food fuel and entertainment prices were basically in line with or better than Midwest America. Our 4 have ridden Africa, Central America, most of eastern and western Europe. This was widely accepted within our group as one of the best, not to be missed

Outstanding trip My wife and I experienced the 10 day self guided tour of Central/Northwest Greece. Everything went like clockwork. John arranged for our airport pickup and we arrived at his shop with our riding gear. Our bike was there prepped and ready to go. After loaded the side cases and completing a little paperwork, John gave us a very comprehensive briefing, provided a GPS with routes and alternates, a guide book with much useful and detailed information, and printed map pages for each day. With that we were on our way. Ten fabulous days. The routes were clearly put together by someone who loves “motorcycle roads” and the lodging was outstanding. The guide book provided a great deal of useful information suggesting when and where to fuel up and where to eat and local sites to visit. Every suggestion we followed was a winner. We’ve taken self-guided, guided, rent and ride and this was one of the best. I highly recommend and have recommended to my NorCal BMW Club members. I’m curious about some of the other areas and suspect we’ll use MotoGreece again. Incidentally, I’ve never felt compelled to rate a tour company before as a few promised more than they delivered. MotoGreece actually exceeded our expectations.read moreread less
Excellent Self-Guided Motorbiking around Greece with Motogreece Outstanding experience with our self-guided 11-day tour across Athens and Pelion - riding two up. We were impressed with the quality of the motorbike; 2025-1300GS which ran extremely well for the entire 11-days and zero issues. The roads in Greece are in great physical shape and while we have traveled to 67 Countries (and counting), and most by motorbike; Greece offered the most curved roads and hairpin turns than any other country we’ve traveled in. I was honestly surprised but pleasantly pleased! Motogreece, AKA: John & John assembled a great 11-day itinerary with all topnotch hotels reserved for our self-guided tour. Detailed printed booklet and TomTom provide day by day instructions for road navigation, coffee stops, gas stations, highlights of things to do & see and restaurant recommendations. Motorbiking around Greece is a great way to see the Country, visit the many historical sites and experience the culture and history of historical Greece. We highly recommend MotoGreece if you’re planning a motorbike excursion. They offer tours from 2-16 day duration and will provide you with an outstanding experience for a very fair, reasonable, all inclusive price for the motorbike and lodging. In October we rode the MotoGreece Northern route, two up, through the mountains on their GS1300 Triple Blacks. The bike were brilliantly specced and prepared with good luggage. The route provided (with their Tom Toms and paper notes) gave us the opportunity to see both popular and remote parts of Greece, the highlight being the 1905m Barros Pass. The accommodation provided was excellent and we ate in all the recommended restaurants. An excellent tour for riders and pillions. Well done to both the Johns at MotoGreece. Thanks, Nick and Claire

Awesome 15-day two-up mainland Greece tour Kimmy and I did a two-up 15 day self guided tour of everything west of Athens. An amazing trip that ranged from beaches to quaint villages to towering mountain passes. The route John suggested was phenomenal, with many secondary roads that let us really see the Greek countryside. There is history around every turn, the people are wonderful, and the food is fantastic and inexpensive. The hotels John booked for us were great. We rented an almost new BMW 1250 GS which worked great for the two of us and our luggage. Greece is the most consistently beautiful country either of us has ever traveled in! We are planning to do this again!read moreread less
We are quite experienced motorcycle travelers having rented and ridden in multiple countries. Our most recent trip was Greece with Moto Greece Communication: excellent before and during the trip Planning: the best we have had. Very nice and thorough customized day by day guide book for our trip with multiple options. Multiple sites and dining recommendations. Pre-programmed GPS with multiple options Motorcycles: New or almost new. Clean. Well prepared. Owners were very happy to spend extra time with us getting any desired personal electronics mounted with access to charging. They rent adventure touring bikes because the roads in some of the remote areas lack maintenance and can be a little rough. The extra suspension travel was much appreciated. Lodging: all carefully chosen and wonderful for our tastes The scenery was epic. Very few cars once out of Athens. The owners were also happy to serve as concierges re: time in Athens. Overall One of our best trips. Would we book with them again? Absolutely. Suggestion: Consider charging a little more and putting toll passes on the bikes. The tolls were not that common but are difficult on a motorcycle when paying cash especially when no attendant was present in the booths. It would have been nice just to roll through with a pass
