To assist customer’s decisions regarding their upcoming vacations during the evolving worldwide COVID-19 situation, :

  • we are temporarily making the following amendment to our cancellation policy for rentals starting between March 10 and June 30, 2020.

Temporary Update of Cancellation Policy, as of 9 March, 2020.

Applies to rentals booked for the time between 10 March to 30 June, 2020.

This amendment will stay in effect until further notice.

Rentals :

  • 7.1.: Cancel up to 60 days before the rental :
    • a) you receive a full refund of the deposit, minus any transaction charges that may be held by the banks or the payment processors
    • b) or you may choose to use the deposit as a Future Rental Credit, that can be used to a future rental for up to 2 years from the time of cancellation
  • 7.2.: Cancel between 59 days and up to 45 days before the rental:
    • a) MotoGreece retains 30% of the reservation deposit plus 12 euros per refunding transaction, as cancellation fees, or
    • b) you may choose to receive a Future Rental Credit equal to the amount of the deposit, that can be used for any future rental for up to 2 years from the time of cancellation
  • 7.3. Cancel the reservation between 44 days and 30 days prior to rental:
    • a) MotoGreece retains 50% of the reservation deposit plus 12 euros per refunding transaction, as cancellation fees, or
    •  b) you may choose to receive a Future Rental Credit equal to the amount of the deposit, that can be used for any future rental for up to 2 years from the time of cancellation
  • 7.4 Cancel the reservation between 29 days prior to rental and up to 2 weeks before the rental : MotoGreece retains 100% of the deposit already paid. But you will receive a Future Rental Credit for 100% of the money paid, to be used to a future rental for up to 2 years from the time of cancellation.

This Future Rental Credit is non-refundable and non-transferable. It may be applied to any new or existing booking. The new future booking will be accepted by MotoGreece in the basis of motorcycle availability.

  • 7.5. : Cancel 13 or up to 4 days before of the start of the rental: 50% of the deposit will be charged. The rest of the 50% will be applied as a Future Rental Credit.
  • 7.6.: Cancel 3 days or less before the start: the entire deposit will be charged.

Cancellation and Refunds for Rentals after June 30 :

7. Cancellation by Participant –

7.1. Should the Participant(s) have to cancel the rental reservation we must receive notice in writing (email or fax)

7.2. If the Participant(s) cancels the reservation between 90 days and 45 days prior to rental, MotoGreece retains 30% of the reservation deposit plus 12 euros per refunding transaction, as cancellation fees.

7.3. If the Participant(s) cancels the reservation between 44 days and 30 days prior to rental, MotoGreece retains 50% of the reservation deposit plus 12 euros per refunding transaction, as cancellation fees.

7.4 If the Participant(s) cancels the agreement less than 29 days prior to rental, MotoGreece retains 100% of the deposit already paid. and no refund is made. No exception to this policy can be made.

7.5. Requests by the Participant(s) to change the booking dates, or motorcycles, or duration of rental period already booked, are considered and handled as a cancellation and the cancellation fees of clauses 7.2, 7.3, and 7.4 apply. The Participant(s) must re-initiate the reservation procedure.

7.6. There shall be no pro rata refunds should the bike be returned early before the end of the hire period irrespective of the circumstances that facilitated an early return.

7.7. There shall be no refunds in case the Participant(s) do not show at the agreed rental period start.

7.8. We strongly recommend that you obtain trip cancellation insurance from an insurance company.

8. Cancellations by MotoGreece

8.1. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation due to unforeseen-able conditions. Should that occur, the Participant(s) options are:

transfer to an alternative rental period to your satisfaction
transfer to an alternative motorcycle model, which may include additional payment or partial refund
a full refund of monies paid.
8.2. If a rental reservation is cancelled by MotoGreece, the Company will not be liable for additional costs or losses incurred by Participant(s) due to the cancellation of the rental. This includes, but is not limited to, the cost of prepaid airline tickets, hotel reservations.

8.3. MotoGreece is not liable to make refunds once rental commences regardless of the reason for Participant(s) being unable to complete the rental period.

8.4. MotoGreece cannot be made liable for unpleasant or unsuitable weather conditions and no refunds are made for such conditions

Cancellations and Refunds for Tours

  • we are temporarily making the following amendment to our cancellation policy for tours starting between March 10 and June 30, 2020.

Temporary Update of Cancellation Policy, as of 9 March, 2020. This amendment will stay in effect until further notice.

Self-guided tours and Guided Tours :
A big part of the deposit is channeled to the accommodation reservations. We will do everything in our power to collaborate closely with the hotels and receive refunds for the part of the deposits that are tied to these accommodation reservations.

The “90-days before the start of the tour” deadline (as shown in paragraph 12) is now moved to 60 days. Consequently the “89-60 days” period is amended.

  • Cancel up to 60 days before the start of the tour:
    – we refund the entire reservation deposit minus any transaction fees imposed by banks or payment processors.
    – or you are given the option to receive a Future Tour Credit for 100% of the money paid, to be used to a future tour for up to 2 years from the time of cancellation.

This Future Tour Credit is non-refundable and non-transferable. It may be applied to any new or existing booking.

  • 59 – 21 days before the start of the tour: No deposit is refunded, but you will receive the Future Tour Credit for 100% of the money paid, to be used to a future tour for up to 2 years from the time of cancellation.
  • 20 days and less, before the start of the tour: no refunds are to be made. The 100% of the money paid are retained by MotoGreece.

12. Cancellation by Participant & Refunds – for tours after June 30

12.1. It is important that we protect the viability of the Tour to ensure that Participants who do not cancel are protected from lower numbers in the events others do cancel.

12.2. Should you have to cancel your trip we must receive notice in writing (email or fax).

12.3 For tours after June 30: Cancellation fees/ charges, are applied as follows. If we receive the cancellation request:

  • up to 90 days before the start of the tour: we refund the reservation deposit minus any transaction fees that are charged by the banks or by PayPal or by any payment gateway/method that has been used.
  • 89 to 60 days before the start of the tour: we refund the reservation deposit minus 150 euros per person.
  • 59 – 45 days before the start of the tour: the whole deposit is retained by MotoGreece. No deposit is refunded.
  • 44 – 31 days before the start of the tour: 50 % of any money paid (deposit and partial payments and/or total payments) is refunded. 50% is retained by MotoGreece.
  • 30 days and less, before the start of the tour: no refunds are to be made. The 100% of the money paid are retained by MotoGreece.

12.4. We strongly recommend that you obtain trip cancellation insurance from an insurance company.

13. Cancellations by MotoGreece and Refunds

13.1. We reserve the right to cancel any tour if the number if participants booked does not meet the minimum requirement to operate the trip. Should that occur, the Participant(s) options are:

  • transfer to an alternative Tour or an alternative date to your satisfaction, which may involve an additional payment or a partial refund
  • a full refund of monies paid to MotoGreece.

13.2. If a tour is cancelled, MotoGreece will not be liable for additional costs or losses incurred by Participant(s) due to the cancellation of the tour. This includes, but is not limited to, the cost of prepaid airline tickets, hotel reservations.

13.3. MotoGreece is not liable to make refunds once the tour commences regardless of the reason for Participant(s) being unable to complete the tour.

13.4. MotoGreece cannot be made liable for unpleasant or unsuitable weather conditions and no refunds are made for such conditions.
