Overview

The Suzuki V-Strom 1050 available for rent from MotoGreece in Athens, is a capable adventure touring motorcycle well suited for the majority of the type of motorcycle touring routes in this country.

This motorcycle is best suited to experienced riders who are already comfortable handling large, powerful adventure or touring motorcycles. Its size, weight, and power output require confidence and developed riding skills, particularly when fully loaded.

Please note, this is the “standard” version with the 19” front wheel, cast rim, and the lower suspension travel, also known as the “RE” version in the USA. Don’t confuse it with the “DE” version which has spoked wheels, a 21″ front wheel and longer suspension travel..

The V-Strom 1050 rental includes:

  • Complete luggage system, with 2 side panniers & rear top case

Prices per day (Euros)

  • 1* – 2 days: 150
  • 3 days: 140
  • 4-6 days: 135
  • 7-13 days: 125
  • 14+ days: 115

* 1-day rentals are offered only on the basis of last minute availability. We do not accept pre-bookings for single days.

For rentals up to 5 days you are allowed for 250-300 free kilometers per day. Extra kilometers are charged for 0.40 euros per km.

Rentals of 6 and more days get free allowance of unlimited kilometers.

Rider Requirements:

To rent the Suzuki V-Strom 1050, riders must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Minimun age: 30 years old
  • Rider’s license: minimum 2years of :
    • motorcycle category A for European riders,
    • non European riders: a full unrestricted motorcycle license AND an International Driver’s Permit showing class A, unless your country is listed as exempt in this article.
  • 5,000 kilometers of recent experience (within the last 3 years)

Insurance and Deposits:

Standard (included in the rental price) :

  • Security Deposit : 1,400 euros (pre-authorized on VISA or MASTERCAD credit card)
  • Theft coverage and Damages: you are covered for amounts in excess of 1,900 euros

VIP, available as an option for rentals of 6 or more days :

  • additional cost of 20 euros per day
  • Reduces Security deposit and Excess to : 800 euros
