Extension options for the 16-day and the 19-day Self Guided Motorcycle Tours

The extension options that you see below apply to both our 16-day tour and the 19-day tour.

Suggested locations for adding non riding days, presented in order of arrival :

• Add 1 day in the much-photographed little fishing port of Limeni, at Mani. The original itinerary includes 2 nights here, and 1 of the 2 days can be spent either riding around the peninsula, or riding to Monemvasia and back. This means, if you choose the option to visit Monemvasia during the 2nd day, you will spend it getting there and exploring this medieval town at ease and soak in all the romantic vibes it offers.

Monemvasia is the country’s best-preserved ‘castle town’, built behind a massive rock on a peninsula and still inhabited despite being founded in the 6th century. It is no surprise that Monemvasia is consider by many Greeks as an ultimate destination for a romantic weekend getaway.

So adding one more day in Limeni, Mani, will allow you to simply relax by the coast or by the pool of your hotel, at a location that is often quiet, with little crowds.

• Add 1 day in Lefkada. The original itineraries include a resting day here, but many riders do choose to ride the loop of the island instead. So you might want to consider one more day here so you can both ride the loop of the island and spend a day relaxing there.
